E' in considerazione ma non ancora in produzione come riporta questo articolo:

In a recent interview with Game Informer magazine, Dead Rising producer Keiji Inafune has set the record straight on the current status of a sequel to Dead Rising for Xbox 360, confirming that a follow-up isn't currently in production. This puts the rumors to rest about all production news about Dead Rising 2; such as our last post.

However, it is a title under consideration at Capcom Japan.

In a recent interview with Game Informer, Inafune said "...we're not making it [Dead Rising 2] right now," but he did say it was something that he'd love to make...

Visto l'enorme successo della Xbox 360 Capcom ha annunciato a parte giochi in esclusiva su questa stupenda consolle,anche il seguito di Dead Rising 2 che comprerò immediatamente).Ti allego la notizia:
