1) Muffin al doppio cioccolato

Per 11-12 muffins

Ingredienti: 250gr di farina - 100gr di zucchero - 8gr di lievito in polvere - 120gr di burro fuso - 2 uova -120gr di cioccolato bianco - 70gr di cioccolato al latte - 2 cucchiaini di estratto naturale di vaniglia* - 6 cucchiai di latte

* oppure i semini di una bacca di vaniglia

Preriscaldare il forno a 180° ed imburrare uno stampo per muffin o rivestirlo con i pirottini di carta. Mescolare assieme gli ingredienti secchi: farina, zucchero e lievito. Ora invece gli ingredienti liquidi: il burro fuso, le uova, il cioccolato bianco che avrete fatto fondere a bagnomaria con un cucchiaio di latte, la vaniglia e il latte rimasto. Unire assieme i composti e lavorare velocemente. Infine tagliare a tocchetti il cioccolato al latte ed aggiungerlo all'impasto. Riempire per due terzi lo stampo per muffin e cuocere per 20 minuti.

Makes 11-12 muffins

Ingredients: 250gr (1.125cup - 9oz) flour - 100gr (½cup - 4oz)sugar - 8gr (2tsp) baking powder - 120gr (½cup - 4oz) butter, melted - 2 eggs - 120gr (½cup - 4oz) white chocolate - 70gr (0.3 cup - 2.5oz) milk chocolate - 2tsp natural vanilla extract* - 6tbs milk

* you can also use vanilla pod seeds

Heat oven at 180°C (350°F - gas mark 4). Grease muffin tray or use muffin cups. Put the chocolate and 1tbs of milk together in a heatproof bowl fitted over a saucepan of barely simmering water. Allow the chocolate to melt – 4-5 minutes – and remove it from the heat. Dice the milk chocolate and set aside. Mix together in a bowl flour, sugar and baking powder. In another bowl whisk eggs with melted butter, white chocolate, the remaining milk and vanilla. Pour in flour mix, milk chocolate and stir quickly. Fill muffin tin and bake for about 20 minutes.
