Gli esempi più classici di lottatori face sono Rey Mysterio, che non è mai stato heel nella sua lunga carriera e John Cena, il quale ha avuto solo forse un breve momento da heel con la gimmick del doctor of thuganomics..Sicuramente ad oggi i top face sono Cena stesso e Daniel Bryan, mentre i top Heel sono HHH e Orton.. Tra face ed heel c'é nel mezzo il tweener, ovvero personaggi come Undertaker che non ha mai preso una posizione ben precisa..
